If I thought sitting between Vic and Jeff when they were arguing was uncomfortable, I was in for a surprise. Sitting between Vic and Jeff after they confessed their feelings for one another was a level of discomfort entirely out of this world. Vic pretended he didn’t exist for half an hour, then she kept stealing glances at him when she thought he wasn’t watching. But Jeff didn’t stop watching. It was odd, his constant staring. It was as if he thought she would disappear or suddenly change her feelings if he looked away from her for even a second.
