Chapter Seven

I wasn’t entirely sure how I had convinced Jay to go to the karaoke bar with us, but he was there, nonetheless. I was a little nervous because I was about to meet Ally, Adaline’s best friend. We arrived a little later than expected due to heavy traffic and, if I’m being honest, my slow driving due to nerves. If Ally didn’t like me, if she wasn’t willing to give me a chance, I was told by Sam in no uncertain terms that I should just turn tail and run because no amount of begging would save my soul from this girl.
