For a while, things seemed to settle into a routine. I tried to ignore my feelings for Mason, but it was difficult. There was something about the ease of our friendship and how he just got me without even trying that kept telling me it was more, something to explore. What I had with Adam was different, a connection that seemed set up by my brother, and nothing I did or didn’t have with Mason was worth hurting Adam.
