July fourth arrived before we knew it, and Zara was having second thoughts about going to Brandon’s party. Their interaction at the café was less than pleasant, but I thought we left on a positive note. Joseph was more than willing to go if Ginny was invited. I wondered if a certain someone by her side would be the little nudge Zara needed. Dinner had gone well, and James proved to be exactly what David said he was. He was funny without trying. It was just the way he was, effortless.
