The Savannah High summer carnival had arrived, putting a definitive period at the end of summer and ushering in our senior year with cotton candy and flashing lights. It felt like ages since the last time we were there. The summer before sophomore year, the summer of Scott Thompson and almost kisses on Ferris Wheels.
