Monday morning came before my desire to get out of bed did, but at least I had something to look forward to when school was over for the day. I groaned and got up, stretching my sore muscles that still hadn’t recovered from the leaf fight and race with Sophia. The cocoa warmed us up, but our day of sisterly bonding ended there. She had a study group, and I had a book waiting for me.
