Obliterated Moments

I don’t know what I expected from a date with Scott, but it certainly was not the scenario that unfolded. Quite frankly, I don’t know why I ever expected anything else. Every time I thought I knew what was going on, I was gently reminded by life with a swift kick in the butt that I was not the one in charge. Life, I discovered at the ripe old age of fifteen, was a big fat meanie. It walks around all high and mighty, screaming, “Look at me!” And when you turn your head to look, it smacks you in the face. Every. Single. Time.
