Bianca was having none of my nonsense again. She wanted to plan a birthday bash, and there was no slowing her down. She wasn’t about to let me slip by with a meager guest list for my eighteenth birthday, so she took it upon herself to invite half the school, not to mention a good many people from Savannah High, to my birthday party. She insisted that each one of us have a grandiose eighteenth birthday, but I was the only one who balked at the idea. I even begged to share mine with Shay, who would celebrate hers in five weeks, hoping to remove myself from the limelight, but Bianca refused to even consider the idea.
