July Mid-Month Update

Writer's picture: Crystal CrawfordCrystal Crawford

Welcome to our July 2023 mid-month update!

We're hard at work here at PirateCat to continually improve our platform, grow our membership, and expand what we can offer our subscribers. As we move into mid-summer 2023, our top 3 goals for PirateCat are:

  1. To continue to grow awareness of our platform, who we are, and what we do.

  2. To grow our subscriber base so that we can have more interaction inside our platform (which makes it more fun for everybody!) and can better financially support the platform's admin, maintenance, and growth.

  3. To add more great content into our platform, including brand new stories, additional bonus content, and more!

If you're a PirateCat subscriber already, THANK YOU for being here, and for supporting our mission to provide a safe, interactive online platform for reading clean young adult fiction! If you know anyone who might enjoy our platform, please send them our way.

New Content Coming Your Way Soon!

Fate Rising (the start of the second story arc in The Leyward Stones)

Crystal is hard at work on the next Leyward Stones series, and hopes to have it launched soon! This will be called Fate Rising (technically "Book 4" of The Leyward Stones series, but it will span way more than one book's worth of content). It's an all new Leyward Stones storyline that can be read as a standalone, but includes cameos and crossover characters from Books 1-3.

This will be posted in a serial format in PirateCat (1-2 episodes per week)... hopefully starting within the next few weeks!

Also Coming Soon...

Crystal is also working on additional new content:

  • A new sweet YA romance with a mystery twist

  • A new YA paranormal detective series with Buffy-the-Vampire-Slayer-meets-Veronica-Mars (with a dash of Sanctuary) vibes

  • More "Learn" content, including writing workshop videos, opportunities for teen authors, & more!

  • More Worldpedia content

We'll keep you updated as things progress for each of these, and as soon as we have a more defined timeline for their launch, we'll let you know!
