“Why am I starting to feel like this was an insane idea?” I asked Drew, glancing at him from the corner of my eye. We had switched places when it started raining because I always had difficulty seeing well in the rain, but we hadn't expected the torrential downpour. He gripped the steering wheel tightly, white-knuckling as he weaved in and out of the traffic, and I prayed we would find a place to stop soon.
