Chapter Three

Early morning practice went out the window, considering all I could think about was what Chase had said the night before. The plan did not include boys. In fact, the plan didn’t include anything fun until I’d secured a scholarship, chosen a college, and decided what I wanted to major in—not that I had a clue what I liked to do besides playing soccer. And yet, there I was about to hang out with Chase and the rest of the group, all while trying to pin down the complicated boy.
