Chapter Thirteen

When Greg first handed me the watch, I was skeptical. There was no way it could be the one that had belonged to Knox’s grandfather. I wasn’t that lucky. But as I examined it, it was clear that my friend had found the one thing I knew Knox would cherish, the best Christmas gift ever. It was a little tarnished, but the engraving was still prominent. The initials KH were engraved on the front in a beautiful script, and on the back, the initials CH in the same font.
