Chapter Sixteen

WIL WOKE WHEN THE PLANE landed. He sat straight with wide eyes and looked at me hesitantly when he noticed the position he’d been in. I smiled and stretched my arms over my head in an effort to pass it off as nothing more than what it was, two people sleeping on a plane. Still, he made a big deal about adjusting his jacket, pretending he hadn’t fallen asleep on me for hours. I didn’t mind though. His head was a comfortable pillow, and his soft murmurs made my difficult decision a little easier.
