I kicked the tire of my old car repeatedly, but even that didn’t get the hunk of junk up and moving again. I knew it would happen. My unreliable vehicle was the main reason Aaron picked me up for class every day. That, and we liked spending extra time with each other. But now, my stupid car was keeping me from getting to class on time, and I’d probably have to call in sick to work.
