Chapter 5 - Becca

Becca hung up the phone and rested her head on the steering wheel. Her conversation with Doug had wrecked her nerves, but she was glad she’d done it. She called him the moment she pulled into her parents’ driveway, because she couldn’t take the feeling of things being up in the air any longer. The conversation had gone well; great even. But although she felt optimistic, part of her hoped she had made the right choice.
