The clues and emails had been going smoothly the past few days. Hunter had even gotten his courage up to talk more about himself and to give Anissa a hint of what she meant to him, that she was special – that he had closed off his heart…until her. When her response came back, flirting that she liked scary movies but would be safer if she had someone to protect her, he was so elated by her response that he didn’t even panic at the fact that she had narrowed down the S.A. suspects to a list of 5. It did almost shake his confidence to see that even though his name was on the list, she had dismissed him as a possibility due to their history. But he was in the process of remedying that history, even if she didn’t yet know it. So he pushed his worry aside, and wrote back.
