Matthew packed up his computer and left the classroom as quickly as possible, trying to avoid Declan’s stare. It was clear that Declan wanted to talk, but Matthew hoped that his quick “Nice to meet you” would suffice, and that the fact that he was flat-out ignoring Declan would be enough to get Declan to leave him alone.
